Terry Baker, MD

When you need an experienced otolaryngologist to evaluate and treat your ear, nose, and throat problems, trust board-certified otolaryngologist Terry Baker, MD, who practices in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He offers compassionate care to all members of the community.

A graduate of Brigham Young University, Dr. Baker went on to earn his medical degree at the University of Texas San Antonio, where he received several merit scholarships for outstanding academic achievement. He completed his residency in head and neck surgery and otolaryngology at the University of Missouri in Columbia. He continues to pursue continuing education, including in topics such as thyroid, sinus, and rhinology.

Dr. Baker is the Chief of the Department of Surgery at Mountain View Hospital. He has also served as Chief of Department of Surgery at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Dr. Baker is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Rhinologic Society, and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Baker is married with five children. When not offering care to patients, he enjoys scuba diving, water skiing, and snow skiing.

Austin Baker, MD

Dr. Austin Baker is an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist at Mountain View hospital and is excited and grateful to bring his training back to serve his home community of Eastern Idaho.

He completed his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University and then traveled to Fort Worth, Texas where he attended the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine for his medical school degree. Following this, he completed five years of residency training at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri where he learned empathetic and patient centered care to complement the outstanding surgical instruction he received.

Dr. Baker treats both adults and children and is proud to offer care in all aspects of ENT. He has special interest in treating diseases of the ear, obstructive sleep apnea, chronic sinusitis, and diseases of the thyroid, parathyroids, and salivary glands.

In his free time Dr. Baker likes to spend time with his wonderful wife, Andrea and keeping up with his two sons and one daughter who provide plenty of happy energy and excitement. He also enjoys spending time on the ski slopes in the winter and on his mountain bike in the summers.
